Mr. Moore founded the firm in 1985, bringing to it his drive for professional excellence, appreciation for working closely with his clients and, not least, his love of winning a case. Throughout his career Mr. Moore has been privileged to defend clients in an array of large damages cases with intense media exposure, representing numerous private and public entities in the areas of premises liability, third party assault, general liability, products liability, civil rights and toxic torts. In his 33 years as an attorney, He has tried more than 50 jury trials and dozens of bench trials.

Born in Oak Park, Illinois, Mr. Moore went on to attend the University of Illinios, earning his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1969 and a Master of Arts Degree in 1971. In 1974, he received his Juris Doctor Degree from Loyola University School of Law and was admitted to the Illinois bar that same year. He is a member of the Chicago and American Bar Associations as well as the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Moore has successfully argued appeals before the Illinois Appellate Court and the Supreme Court of Illinois.

In 2005, Mr. Moore was honored as an "Illinois Super Lawyer" in a peer review selection process conducted by Law and Politics. In his free time, Mr. Moore is an accomplished chef, attacking the creation of a Crème Brûlée with the same meticulous approach (and excellent results) as he does his cases.

Ms. Strickland can boast experience with all levels of the legal profession, having started with the firm in 1985 as its law firm administrator before becoming an associate attorney in 1992 upon earning her J.D. from Loyola University School of Law. She became a partner in the firm in 1996. Concentrating in defending construction, premises, toxic tort and employment law cases, Ms. Strickland has been consistently successful in both jury trials, dispositive motion practice and on appeal.

Born in Elmhurst, Illinois, Ms. Strickland earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree, cum laude, from Northern Illinois University in 1977. Prior to working in the legal profession, she taught history and literature to high school students both in the United States and overseas. Her diverse background provides Ms. Strickland with a fresh approach to trial work, which includes a balance between the practical and legal insight needed for economic resolution of litigation on the one hand and effective presentation of a clients defense to a jury on the other side.

In 2005, Ms. Strickland was honored as an "Illinois Super Lawyer" in a peer review selection process conducted by Law and Politics. She is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel, as well as the American Bar Association. She is the mother of two grown daughters, Kelli and Andrea, and has recently become an insufferably doting grandmother.
